Location to Lightroom, Crawton Waterfall

This week in Location to Lightroom we travel to Crawton Waterfall, near Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

It’s the first time I’ve visited this spot, which is just 20 minutes or so from my home in Aberdeen. As usual, I messed up something - what will it be this time and how did I recover from the setback?

At the end of the video you can see a quick time-lapse of how I edited my favourite shot from the visit.

On this shoot I used my indestructible Nikon D810, Nikon 24-105mm lens, Manfrotto tripod, Hoya polarising filter and Lee Filters Little Stopper 6 Stop ND Filter.

I left this place thinking what an incredible, hidden gem this spot is. If it was on Skye people would be traveling from all over to see it.

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel and share this with your photography friends if you enjoy the episode.

With gratitude…

Graham Dargie.
