My New Video Series Premiere!

Hi. I’m delighted to introduce the first in a new series called ‘Location to Lightroom’. As the name suggests, the video takes you with me to a location so I can share how I go about making my pictures and follows through to the edit of the final image.

This first episode takes us to Aberdeenshire’s iconic coastal ruin, Dunnottar Castle,

Every time I’m there the place is bustling with foreign tourists which is a testament to the pulling power of this marvellous view which we’re lucky to have on our doorstep here in the North East of Scotland.

As great as the location is, it’s one I’ve always struggled with, despite several attempts over the years. Would this be my most fruitful visit to date? Find out in the video below and also see the follow-up Teachable Moment which is a step-by-step walkthrough of how I processed this image.

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel and share this with your photography friends if you found it helpful.

With gratitude…

Graham Dargie.
