Local location guide in the P&J

Recently I was asked to write a local landscape photography location guide for the Press & Journal, the local paper here in Aberdeen. I chose Rattray Head and Stonehaven as 2 great places to photograph, each of which offer so many possibilities to any photographer.

If you didn’t see the article, the takeaways are to get to great places at the best times and to embrace the conditions you’re handed on the day. Stress comes when we wish something to be what it is not - it’s a valuable exercise to try to make something out of ‘bad’ conditions.

I hope this inspires someone to get out with their camera but, either way, it was great to another article in the P&J. Thanks to them for the feature and thanks to Debbie Rennie at Innes Associates for helping to make this happen. GD.
