The name ‘Skye’ is thought to have come from the Norse language meaning ‘Cloud Island’ and it couldn’t be more appropriately named. Weather systems roll across the island from the Atlantic Ocean shrouding the rugged landscape in mystery. Sunlight filters though these clouds and glimmers off the ancient, soaked topography. It’s a photographic challenge and an epic adventure to wrestle the elements and attempt to capture glimpses of this incredible place inside your camera.

I have visited the island many times over the last few years. Each visit brings its own adventure and no two visits are ever the same. I love to share this adventure with others help them experience one of the world’s greatest landscape photography locations. Click below for details of upcoming itineraries.
