Join me and a small group of photographers for an epic week on Scotland’s jewel, the Isle of Skye.

Skye is truly magical with so much to photograph on such a small island. Capture some of the most spectacular landscapes in the UK in the company of a small group (5 max) of like-minded photography enthusiasts with as much tuition and guidance as you need.

We’ll meet in Inverness where our group will assemble and drive though some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery on the way to Kyle of Lochalsh. There, we will cross the Skye Bridge, arrive on Skye and head straight for our first location, Elgol. Thus begins our week on ‘the misty isle’.

Our itinerary will take us to all of the island’s highlights including Elgol, The Fairy Pools, The Old Man of Storr, Talisker Bay, Neist Point, The Quiraing, Sligachan and more. Whatever your level of photography you'll benefit from dedicating time to improving your skills. We'll cover landscape photography fundamentals, of course, with plenty of 1-to-1 tuition as well as looking at filters, processing in Lightroom and Photoshop and even how to make better photographs with your phone.

It's not all go, go, go, however, as we'll have time to enjoy some of Skye's best hospitality at our hand-picked accommodation in Broadford on our first night and in the island’s capital, Portree, for the remaining 5 nights. You’ll enjoy the privacy of single room accommodation and breakfast is included.

The small group size (max 5 ) means you won’t be lost in the shuffle and you’ll receive plenty of 1-to-1 tuition and by giving ourselves a week on the island (6 nights) we have enough time to do everything we want with time built in for Lightroom / Photoshop tuition, image reviews and to cover for rain delays. In the event of the weather making photography impossible we can also use the time to sample some of Scotland’s friendliest hospitality.

When it’s over you’ll have some new photography skills, a great new collection of photographs for your portfolio, some new friends and you’ll have had an adventure you'll never ever forget.

"Where to start! I attended Graham’s Isle of Skye Landscape course last weekend and it was fabulous. He puts a great amount of effort in ensuring you are prepared for the event, choosing good locations and ensuring the logistics work well for everyone. Graham knows Skye well and goes to great effort to ensure your comfort on the trip as well as taking you round the ideal spots on the island. He is a great tutor but gives you freedom to also make your own choices and take your photography where you want it. His own skills with landscapes are excellent and he communicates these clearly whether you are a beginner or more advanced. The social aspect of the trip was great too and ties the whole experience together. I made some like minded new friends and will treasure these 4 days in Skye always. And I know for sure my first visit to the island won’t be my last! If you are considering this trip don’t think - just book!" Z. Rae, November 2018

"I was on Graham’s March trip to Skye and the whole weekend surpassed my expectations from the travel, accommodation, tuition and locations. Graham has a fantastic approach to his tuition and made sure I got all the classic shots of Skye I was wanting. I would highly recommend this trip no matter what level you’re at." - S. Dobson, March 2017
